McHenry signs with Trojans
Molly McHenry, a 5’7 defensive specialist/libero/outside hitter, recently signed to play volleyball at Trinidad State next season. McHenry graduated from Corvallis High School in Corvallis, Oregon. She also played club volleyball for the Mid-Valley Juniors for the past four years.
McHenry was named captain of her club team and was also named most inspirational. She was All-League Honorable Mention as a right-side hitter and had the highest hitting percentage on her club team.
“Molly will be a great addition for our squad next fall,” commented Trojan Head Coach Ellen McGill. “She has shown leadership with both her club and high school teams. She is very solid defensively and plays with tremendous intensity on the court. I believe that she will be a leader for us both on and off the court next year. I am excited that she has committed to being a part of the program.”
Molly plans to major in business at TSJC and is currently in Trinidad this summer for an internship with SCRT. Her parents are Lynda and Sandy McHenry.
