Holden, Callan named Academic All-American

The NJCAA National Office in Colorado Springs recently released the names of the 2009-2010 NJCAA Academic All-American award winners. This year over 1,300 NJCAA student-athletes met the requirements for the individual academic honors.
Two Trinidad State Junior College athletes received the award. Jessica Callan and Drew Holden both maintained a GPA over 3.6 while playing their two years at Trinidad State.
Callan maintained a 3.78 GPA while playing two years as a setter and outside hitter for the Trojan volleyball squad. Holden maintained a 3.69 grade point average while being part of the TSJC golf team that qualified for the national golf tournament.
