Mesa Ridge player coming to TSJC
Trinidad State Junior College softball coach Steve Swazo is proud to announce the signing of infielder Jackie Glover of Mesa Ridge High School out of Colorado Springs.
Glover was a 4-year letter-winner at Mesa Ridge and her senior year was selected to play in the CCGS ( Colorado Coaches Girls Sports) All-State game. She finished the year hitting .357. She was also selected 1st team All-League, a Metro League All-Star, and Peak Performer Honorable Mention for the Gazette Newspaper. Glover was a senior captain on her high school team. Other honors received during her four-year high school career included: 1st team all-league her sophomore and junior years, All Gazette Honorable Mention and was also the team captain her junior year.
"Jackie brings a good glove and strong arm at the shortstop position. She should compete for a spot in our infield," Swazo said. "There is a lot of potential there and we look forward to her being part of the Lady Trojans softball program."
Jackie is the daughter of Danielle Garcia and will study Criminal Justice while attending Trinidad State Junior College.
