Mike Folda will take over the head coaching duties for the 2010-2011 season following five seasons as the assistant to Coach Rich Holden.
Coach Folda joined the staff in 2004 during coach Holden’s first year, and returned in the fall of 2006 after spending one season at Northeastern Junior College. Coach Folda has been a very important part of the last four winning seasons for Trojan Men’s Basketball.
Mike is originally from Pueblo, Colorado and was an all state basketball player at East High School. He received an AA from Northeastern Junior College in Sterling Colorado while playing basketball for NJCAA Hall of fame coach Lowell Roumph . Mike transferred back to Pueblo to finish up his education by earning a BA from Southern Colorado, now known as CSU-Pueblo, in the spring of 2004. While at Pueblo he had the good fortune to play two years for his father, Joe Folda, who has had many successful years at Southern Colorado / CSU-Pueblo as a coach and as the Athletic Director. Mike brings many years of basketball experience to TSJC, and has been actively involved in all aspects of the program from recruiting to on the floor coaching.

Seth Kravig joined the Trinidad State Men’s Basketball family July 1, 2010.
In Kravig, who came to the Trojans after successful stops in Texas and Colorado, Trinidad State secured a tireless recruiter, a passionate basketball man and a great ambassador for the Trinidad State Junior College community.
“This is a fantastic opportunity,” Kravig said. “I want to thank President (Felix) Lopez, Vice President (Sandy) Veltri, Rich Holden, Mike Folda, and all those who have mentored me along the way. I’m excited, the staff at Trinidad State has treated me like family from the very first phone call and I look forward to passing that along to each member of Trinidad, Trinidad State Junior College and the Men’s Basketball family.”
“I have been fortunate to have had some excellent mentors. Tad Boyle (University of Colorado), BJ Hill (University of Northern Colorado), Johnny Jones and Charlie Leonard (University of North Texas) and Fred Rike (Angelo State University) gave me so much of their time and insight. And that is reflected in my personal philosophy, which is, work hard and make yourself better every day. That is all I know how to do and that is all I expect from my players.”
Kravig and his wife Lucy have a daughter, Sydney, and a son, Judah.
